Organisation
Our centre is a private organisation established by St Mary, St Bakhomious & St Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church for long day care for 2-6 year old children and supervised by the Department of Community Services.
Hours Of Operation
Angel Long Day Care operates from Monday to Friday opening at 7.00am and closing at 6.00pm.We are opened all year with the exception of public holidays and a short closure period over Christmas.

Our weekly program is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each child in a happy and informal atmosphere.
The program is derived from principles of early childhood development and the belief that children learn through play.It is flexible, recognizing the needs of each child to develop at his/her own pace and is on display in the main playroom.
Our program incorporates a range of developmental areas including music and movement, language, aesthetic development, indoor and outdoor play.
Children can attend on any days, but we would prefer children to group into 2, 3 or 5 days as this provides the children with stability eg similar friends and staff etc.

THE KINDY PACK
Each child will be expected to purchase a 'Kindy Pack' on enrolment.This pack is available at the centre and includes a sheet (designed especially for our 'Angel' beds) which will be your child's property and should be brought to Kindy during their stay.This pack will also include a sun hat which will remain at Kindy and a levy for sun cream.
Costs for this pack will be kept to a minimum and should, in fact, be cheaper for parents than providing these essentials individually.
Children will receive five meals throughout the day from Kids Gourmet Food.These meals include breakfast, morning tea, a hot lunch, afternoon tea and supper which includes the recommended dietary intake for children.
All meals are made fresh on a daily basis and is based on the nutritional requirements all children require.If your child has any special requirements with their diet or any food allergies please inform the staff so the menu can be modified to meet your child's individual needs.
For children who arrive prior to 7.30am and have not had breakfast, toast with spreads are available.We do encourage families to take the time to feed their children breakfast at home as it is a very important part of their day.
At Angel Long Day Care we also aim to provide a wide range of multicultural foods for the children to enjoy and experience.
