Experience
I, Angie Wyper, am a trained family day carer with 14 years experience and have previously experience working in long day care and preschool.
I am an accredited, licensed and registered carer who is registered through Sutherland Shire Council Family Day Care Unit and have a certificate in senior first aid and child protection. My own children are both of school age.
Philosophy
My Goal - To work in partnership with parents and to bring out the best in each child in care.
My Commitment - To keep parents informed of the happenings in their child's day and to be available to discuss needs, concerns and progress at ALL times. This either being done verbally by telephone contact, by appointment or written in your child's daily communication book.
To provide a nurturing, friendly and caring atmosphere within an educational environment.
To have fun and laughter while participating in daily activities and to develop feelings of trust and security for both children and parents.
My desire is to support parents by providing a happy, loving and alternative family for their child by using my home environment and to give the opportunity for each child to develop to their maximum potential through learning experiences and through structured or unstructured play which is varied and fun.
Positively guiding them though social, emotional and intellectual development.
Keeping families informed by writing a summary of their child's day into a communication book.
