Bullfrog Children's Centre is motivated to provide quality Early Childhood Education. Providing a safe, supportive and demonstrative family centered environment is our highest priority.
At Bullfrog Children's Centre we believe in a family centred environment that is safe, caring and inspiring. All children have the right to a safe and secure setting. A setting that provides for the educational needs of all children and a centre that provides a high level of hygiene, health and safety.
We believe that the needs of children and families are at the heart of what we strive to achieve. All children and families come to our centre with their own individual experiences, cultures, developmental needs and strengths. All of which will be welcomed and valued.
The early childhood stage is the foundation for a child's future. Family backgrounds are the key to knowing and providing for each child. We believe that staff and families need to collaborate to ensure the best start for every child. Together children's development, independence and self esteem can be enriched.
At Bullfrog Children's Centre we believe in interest based learning. Through the interest of each child, our child care professionals will provide a developmentally appropriate play orientated program that caters to the individual needs of each child. Our curriculum will make provisions to meet the following developmental areas; physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive.
We believe an environment that facilitates children to be self thinkers is paramount in assisting children to be long term, independent learners. Children have the right to feel valued. We believe that when children are given opportunity to contribute they are more confident and feel a valued part of our centre community.
We will meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements set by all related organisations.
Our education team is directed by Kimberly, who has a Bachelor of Education (Special Education) and Jenine who has a Diploma and currently studying a Bachelor of Education (0-12years). Between both directors there is over 40 years’ experience.
Our Educator team consists of Early Childhood Teacher’s, Diploma’s, a Trainee who has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and is studying her Diploma and experienced untrained workers.
We continue to ensure that our team has above the required trained educators and above required child/ educator ratios.
Our educators continue to seek and embark on up to date training. Additionally, we currently have educators trained in the implementation of Special Education and Gifted Education programs.
At Bullfrog Children’s Centre we believe that all children have their own unique learning style. To meet the learning styles of all children we have developed a flexible program with specific strategies.
The staff at Bullfrog Children's Centre complete regular observations on each child. Every child has a journal that contains observations, work samples and photos of their experiences.

My 3 year old son was in a Christian preschool however the hours were not long enough so I had to find a long day care centre with suitable hours. Bullfrog was convenient because it was next to Engadine West where my eldest son went. I was very nervous about the change. The nerves only lasted until I met Kimberly the owner of Bullfrog; I knew I was making the right decision. Then my 2 & 3 year old sons started and they love it, they go 3 days a week but wake up with excitement is it Bullfrog day mummy and if I say "yes" they can’t get dressed quick enough. Kimberly and all staff have been so supportive with everything from toilet training to speech concerns etc and the most important thing the children come home happy every day. My 3 year old is doing more school education then he was at the preschool, they just have a great way of providing for the individual child’s development. Thankyou Bullfrog for making my days at work so much easier knowing they are happy, loved and safe. Natalie Turner
Bullfrog is a bright, fresh, innovative child care centre. The staff are friendly and helpful and show a genuine enjoyment in their interaction with our children. My daughter loves going every week and comes home full of chatter about her day. I have, and will continue to recommend Bullfrog to anyone I meet. Sarah Hawke
My son LOVES Bullfrog Children's Centre. All the staff are wonderful, friendly and caring and we have only had really positive experiences. Our younger son can't wait to join his big brother at the centre! Ellen
