The Pre-School operates during school terms. Monday – Friday from 9.00 – 3.00. Extended hours 8.30-9.00 and 3.00-3.30 for an extra fee. The Pre-School is closed during school holidays and on public holidays.
We cater for children from 3 to 5 years of age.
Pre-School education has undergone a great many changes over the past few years. It is not child minding and it is not only a preparation for school. Pre-School children spend a great deal of time at play, because it is during these most formative years that the child learns through play experiences. Each play activity and piece of equipment in the pre-school has a specific purpose in the development of the child.
The children are encouraged to develop physical, creative and manipulative skills, as well as their ability to communicate and co-operate with other children and staff. The children will learn songs, listen to stories, share ideas and experiences and develop a sense of balance and rhythm in musical experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our preschool, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss enrolments or to organise a time to view our lovely preschool.
