Hand in Hand Child Care Services aims to provide Child Care Centres with both Recruitment and Professional Development Training.
Our Recruitment section focuses on permanent, both part time and full time staff and we are building our business to include casual staff lists. At Hand in Hand we work to provide you with quality staff members to continue to provide your current standard of care at your centre and/or to develop your centre as well as the children's knowledge and understanding. To do this we select only candidates who understand and respect the Early Childhood industry’s values, enthusiasm and ethics when it comes to working with children and families in the community. Our services include but not limited to: meeting with you at your centre to find out your needs and wants in an employee, advertising the position on sort after websites as well as in local papers, reference and child protection checks and providing you with the best possible candidate for your centre.
Aside from Recruitment, at Hand in Hand we aim to develop and improve the skills of Child Care Educators. As you know, in the Childcare industry you need to remain current in all areas and up to date with regulations. We understand your different needs and requirements and, therefore, prepare individual workshops and assessments (from EYLF to behaviour management to Communication to Engaging Environments and many more).
As you know, with the new requirements all staff need to be at least Certificate III trained. Many of you will have staff that have worked in the industry untrained for many years and therefore, could receive RPL (Recognition Prior Learning) status with regard to their studies. We can also assist you and/or your staff with preparation of your qualifications and helping you achieve your qualifications via RPL. We are working closely with an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) to help you achieve this – saving you time, we will assist with the paperwork and submit for approval.
Our staff all hold their Children Services qualifications, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and have many years experience within child care centres. We have taught at registered Colleges and written modules for the Certificate III and Diploma of Children Services within the training place, worked as Consultants for many industry organisations as well as planned individual child care centres workshops for centres and corporate businesses.
