My name is Indira Patel,  I have been working in family day care with Sutherland Shire Council since 1993.  I have finished my Diploma in Community Service (Children's Services) through the Council.  I have one son born in 1995, whose name is Sonik. 

Our Daily Routine

7:30 - 8:30 Breakfast/Free Play
8:40 - 9:15 Drop Sonik to school
9:15 - 10:00 Indoor play
10:00 - 10:30 Morning Tea
10:30 - 11:30 Outdoor play
11:30 - 12:00 Group time ie singing, music, story
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 2:30 Sleep/Quiet time
2.45 - 3.30 Indoor play
3:30 - 4:00 Afternoon tea
4:00 - 4.30 Outdoor play
4:30 - 5:00 pack up & going home

Philosophy

I provide quality care in a nurturing home environment with a small group of children under supervision all the time.

In my service, I am to provide a variety of interesting and appropriate experiences to the children to help them learn and develop skills through play.

Aim to communicate professionally with children, their family and family day care staff.

I am to consider and respect children and family's individual needs.

Child's favourite soft toy and/or blanket and/or dummy.
