I have been a fully licensed, highly accredited child carer with Sutherland Council for the past 12 years. As I am registered carer with extensive public liability insurance and DOCS approval I am able to offer you a child care rebate and tax rebate on your fees.
I care for a small group of five children each day, which gives me the opportunity to meet each of your child's needs and wishes and gives the child the opportunity to shine and grow at their own individual pace and style.
As I have two school aged children of my own, I understand how important the first five years can be.
I have designed and built a new home to cater for all the needs and safety regulations required to run a day care centre, such as, safety glass, air conditioning, hot water regulators etc. I also have a huge grassy back yard for children to safely play.
I am only 3 minutes walk to Como train station.
As I understand and support the needs of parents to be both working full days, and the lack of pre-schools to cater for long hours. I offer an extensive school readiness program. Three monthly development assessments on all children will also be completed and available for you to review. I also have the support and back up of Sutherland Council's Child Development Offices, who visit monthly to overview all programming.
I have guided many children from toddlers to independent school age children. Many children coming back for after school care and vacation care.
I am able to provide a large range of stimulating activities, such as puzzles, playdough, art and craft, story time and songs and dance.
The uniqueness of family day care means I can also offer activities such as a walk to the corner shop to buy an iceblock on a hot day. I can also offer the comfort and warmth of a home environment for those children who find a big group situation just too much.
