Training – I have completed my senior first aid certificate and I’m currently studying my Diploma of Teaching in Early childhood.
About Me – I have lived in Engadine all my life and have raised 4 beautiful children. I have been employed with the Sutherland Shire council for over 2 years as a casual child care assistant in many of the shire’s long day care centres and have also been Play session leader at Gymea Bay resource centre, which is open for all Family Day carers to utilise on a weekly basis.
In this role I have been able to help and support many of the Sutherland Shire Family Day carers in promoting early learning in a variety of structured and unstructured play. I am constantly sourcing and programming new and exciting ideas to engage all children. We enjoy various craft activities and always provide a stimulating group time with a wide range of songs, instruments, dance and stories. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this role and I’m enthusiastic about opening my own family day care.
My Service – At Kirsty’s Family Day Care you can be assured that your child will be looked after with a warm family environment, which will be structured and programmed to ensure all children are encouraged with a range of educational and creative resources, designed to stimulate them in all areas of development i.e. social emotional, fine and gross motor, cognitive and cultural.
My Environment – At Kirsty’s Family day care I have fully renovated a separate area of my home to DOC’s regulations and have a generous yard with sand pit and vegie patch.
Why Choose Family Day Care – By providing a small group environment this enables me to give your child more one on one attention. I will be there to greet your child on a daily basis and encourage and guide them through what is an exciting portion of their little lives.
Child Care Entitlements – As Kirsty's Family Day Care will be a registered service, families are entitled to Child Care Benefit which is based on combined income and the number of children in the family.
