Welcome to Meredith’s Family Day Care. I am a licensed Family Day Care Educator registered with with Approved Service Provider "Sutherland Shire Family Day Care Scheme” - Provider Number CSSF3000010.  

I provide high quality care for up to 5 children ranging from 18months to 5years old and have been an Educator since 2006. I am currently studying certificate 3 in Children’s Services and undertake regular training sessions to update my knowledge, I hold my Seniors First Aid certificate as well.

My hours of business are, Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm, 48 weeks of the year. My childcare environment is subject to regular safety checks and is fully insured, meeting all of DOCS regulations. Families are eligible to claim CCB and CCR.

I have a passion for early education and creating positive experiences for children by providing a safe and secure environment which will foster confident and happy self identities. I embrace the Early Years Learning Framework and commit to the outcomes that embrace the whole child.

My environment is set up for self development by, experimentation, investigating, and imagination, problem solving and researching, using many different methods of play.

I, as a mother of two, value the vital role you as parents play in your child’s life and acknowledge the importance of bridging the gap between home and childcare.

I truly believe Meredith to be dedicated child care professional. The warmth and comfort Meredith offers the children is unbiased and genuine. The educational program is far beyond what I expected and the care she takes in preparing the older children for school is exceptional. There is always happy smiling faces at Meredith’s as she constantly keeps the children interested with her exciting programs and activities. Meredith supports her vast knowledge by regularly doing child care courses.   The time we spent at Meredith’s was very rewarding.   The environment in her home is welcoming, secure and warm. Everyday Meredith creates a place for the kids to learn abundantly and freely, have loads of fun and feel comfortable and at home away from their home. Meredith is a warm caring and open person who you can tell loves the kids each individually. She is consistent in her approach, which in turn I think the kids respect and as a mother I always feel safe and trust she will do the write thing.   Meredith is very compassionate about what she does, she cares strongly about children’s development and her focus is always what’s best for the child.   She has often gone above and beyond hats expected to help me with certain concerns and has been ever adaptable to my sons own individual needs and the needs of the family. Meredith knows my son and it is like having a fresh pair of eyes on his development. At the end of the day she will relish in telling you something new or fun that happened that day.  I am totally impressed at the activities that Meredith plans throughout the day, there is such a variety and sometimes so simple yet she allows the kids to explore…….we are forever grateful for all she has done. Meredith was the first carer I spoke to. She was very approachable and explained the daily requirements thoroughly. She offered me the security of a trusted qualified carer within a small group setting. I felt very confident to leave my 3 year old in her care; therefore there was no need to look elsewhere.
Meredith put Jordan in a good routine. She offered a range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, which stimulated all of the children. I was very pleased with quite time, which meant that my son was sleeping, relaxing or reading a book while the other children slept.    I received daily updates on my son’s activities throughout the day. Meredith occasionally took the children to playgroup, an activity which I loved doing prior to going back to work. At the end of the year, Meredith provided me with a portfolio with my child’s work in it.

Meredith Saad was my youngest daughters Family Day Carer during the school year of 2007. Meredith displayed a high degree of professionalism in the way that she managed her business but her priority was the quality of care given to the children each day.  Meredith created a friendly and nurturing environment for the children in her home. She was fair and considerate and the children openly expressed how much they loved being in her care. Meredith always considered the interests and needs of the children in the organization of the day’s activities. She was passionate about giving them enriching activities that suited their personal interests as well as challenging activities to help them gain new skills.   Her home was welcoming and safe. She was aware of the importance of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards and created an environment of very high standard. Meredith understood that safety and well being of the children in her care was paramount.   My daughter looked forward to seeing Meredith each week and she would be smiling or laughing at pick up time. Meredith was open and honest with both the children and their families. I was always kept informed of her progress and new interests. Meredith would spend time talking over the happenings of the day which kept the communication lines open at all times.  Meredith managed to strike a perfect balance between nurturing, educating and playing with the children and successfully managing a business while maintaining healthy relationships with her customers. Meredith is a highly respected carer and is appreciated for her outstanding efforts with our daughter.   I would have no hesitation in recommending Meredith Saad as a person of the highest integrity and as an outstanding carer and would recommend her to any family.
