Days and Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday (4 days) Hours: 8:00= to 4:00 pm. Type of care provided: full time, before & after school care, school holiday care, part time care, alternate care, weekend care just Saturday 8.00am to 7.00pm.
My name is Nagwan. I have one daughter & one son. I am a registered with the Sutherland shire family day care scheme licensed by the Community Services. The Sutherland shire family day care scheme is fully accredited by the National childcare accreditation and the process of accreditation is conducted every two year.
I really enjoy what I'm doing, as I find it very rewarding. My day care business on my premises is separated from my living area. I have a large backyard so the children are always physically and mentally
stimulated.
Our street is a quite street, and I have in front of my house a playground and a park so the children can enjoy it. I attend with the children to the play session, which is organized by the council twice a week.
My philosophy: is to provide an inclusive and high quality service committed to excellence. I provide a stimulating, warm, safe, clean, hygienic, interesting, secure, peaceful and caring environment. My goal: is to work with parents and co-ordination unit in partnership and work as one team and children to feel capable and competent, encouraging their ability to interact with others.
My commitment:
- Is to keep the parents objectively informed of the happenings in their child's day. Their development progress and concerns at all time in honorable manner
- I will discuss any problems related to any behavior with you.
- It's important to communicate to me any changes at home i.e. stress or problems that may having effect on your child's behavior together we will discuss and put strategies that can be used in care

Indoor Activities: Painting, Drawing, Art, Craft, Play dough, Stamping, Stickers, Blocks, Puzzle, Songs, Dancing, Story book and Soft music in the sleep time.
Outdoor Activities: Bike, Balls, Balloon, Bubbles, Water play, Sandpit, Push & Pull toys, Tunnel, Slide
My communications with the parents:
- Daily communications via email, verbal or communications book to

- Journals writing which include the art work for your child, photo and descriptions of what your child do
- Parents can give me feedback and suggestions for their child's day and play in writing or on my e-mail

My Qualification:
- Registered by Sutherland shire council family day care scheme
- I have completed childcare certificate III in children's services in 2010.
- Senior First Aid.
- Public liability insurance.
- Toilet training.
- Effective programming in an early childhood service
- Child protection training.
- Toddler behavior & management.
- Communicate with children.
- Communicate with family member.
- Road safety.
What do you need to bring to the family day care?
- Clothing
- All the items to be clearly marked with your child's name.
- Send your child with suitable clothing which allow your child freedom to run, jump, crawl and climb as well as possibly take a little spill of paint.
- It is advisable to supply a full set of clothing including underwear, extra paints if toilet training or potty. Shoes, Socks in case of accidents and always pack a jumper in case of a cool change.
- Please provide your child with Sunscreen, Hat, bibs and Sleeved tops every day in both (summer or winter).
- Please provide your child with Nappies, Wipes, Nappies rash and (Nappy Sacks Bags) Plastic small bags, pack of tissues.
Food
- Please supply your child with enough food and drinks each day for breakfast, or morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea water( please NO Chocolates, Lollies ,Chips unless for special occasions) to be shared by all children in care, and keep in that we encourage the child to good eating habits.
- If your child has a bottle you will be expected to provide ready made bottles for the day.
- In the hot weather additional drinks will be required.
Sleep-in
- All children have the opportunity to rest during the day But No child will be forced to sleep.
- For children who do not sleep, I provide some quite activities during the rest time.
- Please provide your child with clean sheets and light cover or sleeping bag.
Sun smart
- Please provide your child with sunscreen (30+ broad spectrum sunscreen).
- Please provide your child with hat to cover all head and neck and mark it with your child name.
- Please provide your child with shirt that will cover the shoulders, chest, and back.
Holidays
I usually take two or three weeks off at Christmas time, I will organize alternative care for your child. It is important to keep dates in mind, in case we can't organise alternative care.
