Welcome,
My name is Rachel and I am a registered family day care educator with
Friends at Family Day Care. I am conveniently located in Yowie Bay, just a couple of hundred metres from President Avenue.
I offer care on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 8am to 5pm and am licensed to look after 5 children. Eligible families can claim the Childcare Benefit and Childcare Rebate through the Friends at Family Day Care scheme.
I live with my husband and have two wonderful boys of my own. I provide children with a warm, loving and fun environment where they will be nurtured and cared for in the same way that I would wish for my two boys to be in someone else’s care. As a parent myself, I appreciate what a big decision it is to entrust your child in someone else’s care and I feel so honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to the life experiences and learning’s of the children in my care.
I will offer your child a wide variety of play activities and experiences to enjoy and explore including: outdoor play with sand, ball pit, trikes and games and indoor play with playdough, painting, craft activities, puzzles, role play, musical instruments, singing and many toys aimed at developing fine and gross motor skills.
I hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate and will be commencing my Certificate III in Children’s Services shortly.
