Welcome,
I am a registered and fully licensed home based carer (registered with
Friends at Family Day Care) providing the highest quality care and education for children aged 2 years to 5 years in a secure, loving and modern environment. I have completed my certificate 3 and am currently studying my Diploma in Children's Services and am a Degree qualified Nutritionist with a personal and professional passion for childhood health and natural nutrition.
I have three wonderful children and through my own life experience, education and philosophy, I have a dedicated belief in supporting a child's development through a caring stimulating and enjoyable environment. Also, focusing on age appropriate strength and interest based programs, as well as nurturing their health, is paramount to their mental and physical progress and vitality.This is a huge investment in their immediate future as vibrant little people and in their adult future and wellbeing.
Children in my care form warm, loving relationships and through their indoor and outdoor activities, flexible routines and spontaneous play, each area of early childhood development is stimulated and encouraged. The program focuses on their group and individual emerging skills and interests, and every 6 months each child undergoes a progressive developmental milestones check which is recorded and documented.
My day care environment is subject to regular safety checks and is fully insured. I hold a Senior First Aid Certificate and attend all available carer training programs. Families are also eligible for child care benefits. I foster warm, relaxed and respectful yet professional relationships with both children in my care and their families. I understand that the most important role for me as a caregiver is to form a partnership with parents and families in a commitment to support their role whilst promoting their childs mental and physical development and wellbeing.
