If you are at the stage where you're thinking of sending your child to Kindy for the first time, don't despair. Being mums ourslelves and having gone through the same thing, we know it's a big decision. You feel like you're sending your little one into the big wide world all alone.
Well let us put your mind at rest. Children love the company of other children. When you first bring your child to Kindy you'll probably be more upset than they will. Oh sure they may have a few tears at first, however, we can assure you as soon as you're out of sight they are laughing, playing and having a great time. Sneak in without them seeing you on that first afternoon and you'll know what I mean.
At Sylvania Kindergarten we pride ourselves on the quality of our teachers, the care and attention we show the children, the facilities available and our programme that helps prepare them for school.
You will be pleasantly surprised when you see how much your child will learn in such a short time. Skills such as counting, craft, dancing, telling news, singing and more important of all social interactions, are just a few.
Located in a quiet, leafy street, with plenty of parking we are away from the noise and air pollution of busy main roads. As you walk into our entrance you will start to get the feel for our centre. Not a sterile centre where you're just a number but warm and happy with a personal touch. Privately owned and operated we are interested in our centre's families and will certainly make you feel at ease.
Whilst our teachers care for your child you can relax with a cuppa, browse through our programme and ask the dozens of questions that you will no doubt need to ask.
Our staff are dedicated, responsible and caring and genuinely enjoy both working with children and their parents. We're sure that you will feel safe leaving your most precious person in the world - your child, with us.
We are fully licensed with the Department of Community Services and have a maximum of twenty nine children per day, aged 2-5 years. Our hours are from 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, 48 weeks per year (closing for 4 weeks over Christmas).
Please call us today to organise a time to see our centre and discuss your child's needs.
