Unitingcare Caringbah Preschool is a community based preschool managed by Caringbah Uniting Church. The preschool has been operating for 28 years and is currently licensed to take 20 children aged between 3-5 years per day. In 2011 a second room will open catering for another 20 3-5 year old children per day.
The preschool is open between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday during the NSW Department of Education School terms.
The preschool aims to work in partnership with families providing a high standard of early childhood education for children in their prior to school years. We aim to develop each child as an individual and at an individual pace regardless of age, race, gender or family background.
We employ University trained Early Childhood Teachers and TAFE trained childcare workers. We believe the qualifications of our staff greatly enhance the preschool programme that is provided. We cater for children with additional needs, offering extra support staff and programme support for families.
We develop individual programmes for these children together with these families. We liaise with community health care professionals and schools, to assist with the transition to school process for these children and their families.
